Analysis and Lessons Learned
The objective of this analysis is to strengthen the Members’ overall industrial production capabilities, which will enhance collective security while supporting Ukraine’s defence and adapting the NATO DTIB to the new geostrategic realities. It will result in a research roadmap, which will highlight NATO-wide synergies in the broader DTIB, possible areas of coordination and efficiencies, and potential courses of action.
The Exploratory Team will facilitate initial discussions within the NATO community and address the following research questions:
- What are the impacts of geopolitical, economic, and technological tensions on the global supply chain?
- How do the NATO members prioritize and optimize security needs within the industrial production arena?
- What is the role of the private sector/academia?
- In what ways can supply chain modeling provide insights to better understand vulnerabilities and highlight areas for investment?
